29 sleeps to go!

What an amazing week! A week of more firsts.

My first interview!

My first photo shoot!! Who would have thought I would ever utter those words!

Tuesday night I had the honour of being the guest speaker at a Women of Plan Adelaide fundraiser “A Taste of Nepal”. Mia, Filomena and Judith worked so hard to pull off the most wonderful evening. It was an evening spent in the company of a room full of amazing women (and yes there were some very supportive blokes there too!).The evening was all too short but I had the opportunity to hear a little of some inspiring women’s stories and dreams. Adelaide you are in good hands and the future bodes well if some of the younger guests are anything to go by.

My first interview (and associated photo shoot) was with the Messenger. For those of you in Adelaide keep an eye on your driveway Wednesday!

1 more working day to go and then I have 4 weeks to concentrate of getting “match” fit. Hiking for 8 hours everyday. I’ll continue my agility training twice a week. Sadly my last official snake pit session will be Saturday morning. It will still be my Plan B on Total Fire Ban days. (for those of you in colder climbs our National Parks are closed on Total Fire Ban Days….. down in a gully, on a tree lined ridge…not a place you’d want to be in a Bushfire)

Since starting this week’s blog I have heard the news coming in from South America. My thoughts go out to the people of Chile.

On that rather sombre note

Until next time

Namaste
